Hadrat Masoomeh, "the spring of greatness and blessings"

It is apparent that the study of the lives of the friends of Allah, and choosing them as standards, is a suitable and true way of educations which causes development and exaltation of the human communities.Upon this knowledge, one of the honorable Ladies, who were a manifestation of purity and a shining pearl from the sea of purity and infallibility, is her highness Fatemeh Masoomeh, daughter of Imam Kazim (a.s.). Imam Sadiq (p.b.u.h.) before the birth of Imam Kazim (p.b.u.h.) said, "In the near future, a Lady from my progeny would be buried in Qum. Anyone who visits her, the eternal reside in the Almighty's Heaven will be a decisive reward for him.Hadrat Masoomeh was born in Ziqa'de of 173 A.H., her dear father passed a way when she was only 6 years old, Imam Kazim praised her dignity in a way which reminds of the dignity of hazrat Fatima (p.b.u.h.) in the worlds of the holy Prophet when he said, "may father be sacrifice for you!"After the martyrdom of her father, she was under the guardianship of her brother, Imam Reza (a.s.), and got the highest degrees of knowledge and spiritual purity, until Imam Reza said, "if someone visits Hadrat Masoomeh in Qum, it is likely that he has visited me."When Imam Reza, by the order and force of Mamoon, moved from Medina to Khorasan, after one year, he wrote a letter to Hadrat Masoomeh and asked her to go there.A large carvan, led by Imam Kazim's son, went toward Khorasan. In the way to Khorasan, the enemies of "Ahle Bait" attacked the carvan. And killed the leader of carvan and some of men.  Then they poisoned her food, and caused her martyrdom. In that attack 23 men were martyred. The illness of hadrat Masoomeh, as she saw the dead bodies, became worse. The remained members of group and some of the friends of Ahlul Bait took her to Qum, and after 16 (or 17) days, she died, and was buried in a place that is now her holy shrine.Naba Cultural Organization acknowledges its deep condolence and sorrow, on the occasion of demise of this prominent lady of the Prophet's family.
