In many traditions, the events just prior to the reappearance of the promised savior, al-Qa'im (PBUH) have been portrayed. On the other hand, other traditions convey that the advent of the Qa'im (PBUH) will be very sudden and unpredictable, and the foretold events prior to his advent may be altered. In the first part of this book, the significance, purpose, predictability, and possibility of alteration in the signs, as well as their effect on one's expectation of the arrival of al-Qa'im (PBUH) are discussed.
